The inspection covered the loadout and the mine
site. The weather was clear and the ground was dry,
The fence is still open where a two -track trail leads to the property to the north of the loadout.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05:
At the mine site, the south culvert (two pipes) appeared to be functional as the larger pipe is totally clear.
However, the smaller pipe is partially clogged.
The Best Management Practices for sediment control from the reclaimed pond area have been improved.
Additional BMPs (straw booms, aka wattles) have been added below the pile of soil at the southeast corner of the
bridge.
GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE:
The site was found to be in general compliance with the permit.
RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3:
At the loadout vegetation is beginning to emerge, but the soil is very dry, and white spots indicate a possible
buildup of salt.
The loadout area has no gullies and no apparent problems. The two remaining parcels at the mine site contain no
gullies and no apparent problems.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4
Page 2 of 5
