Dept.of Natural tia4ulcUs <br /> Dear Jim <br /> Inclosed are the maps, seed lists and discriptions of our three <br /> vegetation test plot areas . The test plots were completed in <br /> September , 1984 at each of the three locations , #1 Mine, #4 <br /> Mine and #5 mine. The slopes at each site were scarified with <br /> a dragline and then seeded and mulched. Conwed plastic netting <br /> was then placed over the entire plot area. <br /> We will inspect the plots on a annual basis for wind and erosion <br /> and set up the vegetation cover and production study for the <br /> third (1987 ) , fifth (1989 ) , seventh (1991) , ninth (1993) , and <br /> tenth (1995) year .
