Included wJLth this report is a
plan view of the proposed fill, and approximate cross-section at
100-foot stationing, as provided to Lincoln-DeVore by Mid Continent
Resources . A rough calculation of the volume of the fill based
on these sections indicated a potential yardage of about 500, 000
cubic yards of fill. This is equivalent to 360, 000 cubic yards
of rock excavation for the tunnel . If our understanding of the
planned amount of excavation is correct, the proposed fill should
have more than sufficient vo3_u;,ie to provide for tunnel excavation
spoil .
It is believed that all pertinenIC
points concerning the proposed fill have been covered in this
report. Should soil types and conditions other than thosa out-
lined here Ln De encounteroc, or lrilpi.erne_'iitod during construCtion
on the site, these should be reported to Lincolri--DeVore so that
changes in recommendations may be made, if necessary. Should
questions arise or further information be needed, please feel
free to contact our office.
-11--
