BANTA, Director August 31 , 1989 Mr. Hal Simpson Department of Natural Resources Division of Water Resources 1313 Sherman Street, Room 819 Denver, Colorado 80203 Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35 , Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on August 31 , 1989, a technical revision application for a permit to conduct coal mining operations, File No. C-81-017 (TR - 12), by Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. , P.O. Box 500, Carbondale, CO 81623, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations in Section 10, Township 10 South , Range 89 West, 6th P.M. The revision proposes a new mine water treatment system. The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maD of Placita. A copy of the technical revision application is available for Public inspection at the Pitkin County Planning Department, 130 South Galena Street, Aspen, CO.
