NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION FOR A
TECHNICAL REVISION TO THE REGULAR MINING
AND RECLAMATION PERMIT
Public notice is hereby given that an application for a
technical revision to the regular mining and reclamation
permit has been filed with the State Mined Land Reclamation
Board pursuant to CRS 34-33-101 et . seq . and pursuant to
regulations promulgated .
The technical revision was submitted by Mid-Continent Resources ,
Inc . , 201 Centennial St . , Suite 406, Glenwood Springs , CO
81601 for their mine facilities located in Pitkin and Gunnison
Counties approximately 5 miles west of Redstone, Colorado .
The revision is for approval to extend the light use road
system by approximately 1 . 4 miles within the permit area . The
permit area is located in Townships 9 and 10 South, Ranges 39 and
90 West , 6th P .M. See Placita and Elk Knob U . S . G . S . 72 minute
quadrangle maps .
Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for
public inspection at the Pitkin County Planning Department ,
130 S . Galena Street, Aspen, CO 81611 and at the Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Division, 1313 Sherman Street, Room
423 , Denver, Colorado 80203 .
Written comments , objections , or requests for an informal
conference on the application may be submitted to , and
additional information obtained from, the Mined Land Reclama-
tion Division, Room 423 , 1313 Sherman Street , Denver, Colorado
80203 , (303) 866-3567 . Written comments, objections , or
requests for an informal conference must be filed at the
Division not later than ten days following this publication .
