Peabody Sage Creek Mining proposes to expand the current disturbance area specifically associated with the underground operations The revised mining associated disturb- ance area will increase by 77 2 acres to a total of 355 8 acres to allow for construction of an improved drainage system . The Peabody Sage Creek Mine is a underground coal mine located in Routt County, approxmately 9 miles SF of Hayden Coal interest is Federal, state and private, and the surface affected is Federal, state and private land. The permit area encompasses ap- proximately 10,164.W acres This proposed decision is based ona finding that the proposed operation will comply with all requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 33 101, et seq , C R.
