However , a small 20 'x20 'x8 ' pond <br /> should be left to capture any oil and grease coming from the shop <br /> area . The existing discharge structures can be left in place . <br /> This pond will have to be cleaned out when the sediment level <br /> rises to the discharge structure. <br /> Past operating experience has shown that the four ponds have <br /> been more than adequate to contain a 10 year-24 hour event . This <br /> is evident by the fact that the fourth pond has almost never been <br /> required to be cleaned of sediment .
