As required by Rule 2.08.5(2)(a), the Division is to notify the
Permittee at least 270 days prior to expiration. The operator must then submit a
complete application for permit renewal at least 180 days prior to expiration in
order to reserve the right to successive renewal.
This letter shall serve as official notice of the need to renew Coal Basin's valid
existing permit. A complete application should be received at the office of Mined
Land Reclamation no later than November 30, 1992.
Given the recent developments, with Mid-Continent Resources, it is likely that a
"Reclamation Only" permit will be issued at renewal.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
,L
Anthony J.
