The ponds will be drained, culverts and <br /> overflow pipes will be removed utilizing a backhoe, the <br /> entire area will be backfilled to AOC utilizing a D-8 dozer, <br /> topsoil will be re-distributed, and the area will be re- <br /> vegetated utilizing the 8 ,000 foot elevation seed mixtures . <br /> Total disturbed area of these two ponds is 4 .6 acres , <br /> the total fill cubic yardage for constructing the two ponds <br /> is 13, 350 , and the maximum amount of topsoil to be replaced <br /> is 7 ,420 cu. yds . <br /> The culverts, overflow pipes and any other man made structures <br /> can be dug out and loaded in a dump truck in a maximum of <br /> two working days - 16 hours, <br /> 214 Backhoe - $58 per hr. x 16 = $ 928 <br /> 966 Loader - $68 per hr. x 4 = 272 <br /> Dump Truck (4 yd) - $44 per hr. <br /> x 4 = 176 <br /> TOTAL $1,376 <br /> Backfilling of the two ponds will be accomplished with a D-8 <br /> dozer for an average push distance of 1001 . A D-8 dozer <br /> can push 900 cubic yards per hour at this distance. <br /> 13,370 cu, yds. divided by 900 = 15 hours <br /> Allowing for some uphill grade pushing we should add 5 hours <br /> for a total of 20 hours of dozer time. <br /> 20 hours x $118 � $2 , 360 <br />
