NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br /> The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division has issued a proposed decision to <br /> approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation plans for the Coal <br /> Basin Mines, Permit No. C-81 -017, operated by Mid-Continent Resources Inc, <br /> under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of <br /> 1979. The proposed technical revision was submitted by Mid-Continent <br /> Resources Inc, on August 22, 1986 for the Coal Basin Mines. The affected area <br /> is located in portions of Township 9 and 10 South, Range 89 and 90 West, 6th <br /> Prime Meridian in Pitkin County. <br /> The subject technical revision is for the addition of 2 mine discharge ponds <br /> below the rock tunnel . <br /> Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the <br /> Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room <br /> 423, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or may <br /> be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br /> decision. Requests for a formal hearing must be made in writing within ten <br /> (10) days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br /> reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />
