Larry Perino Page 2 April 25, 1994
Considerable work has been completed to permit the rapid
construction of the second B-Level Bulkhead (primary) after filling
the first B-Level Bulkhead. The bagged limestone buffer for both
B-Level Brenneman bulkheads has been stockpiled on B-Level. It
will only be necessary to wait for the initial cure of the first
B-Level bulkhead in order to strip the water side and grout that
bulkhead before stacking the limestone bags against the face of the
first B-Level Bulkhead. Lack of adequate storage space near the
mixing station is apparently all that prevents transporting the dry
concrete bags for the second B-Level Brenneman bulkhead to the
mixing site at this time. There will be sufficient time during
curing of the first B-Level Bulkhead to bring in that concrete.
Sincerely,' D -
ohn F. Abel, Jr.
Colorado P.E. 5642
