B-L Brenneman Primary Bulkhead
Construction Certification Report
Page 4
Grout take of this bulkhead was less than 1/2 cubic foot with
the only take being the left rib-sill intersection (minimal
take) and back center hole. Initial grouting pushed grout
from the back center hole out the front bulkhead-rock contact.
This hole was grouted, let set while the other holes were
grouted and then regrouted to within the required pressure
range. All holes were pressured to 200 psi (the maximum in
the 100-200 psi specification) .
The bulkhead rock-concrete contact has been grouted to
specifications and all indications are that the low pressure
grouting was successful and complete.
The B-L Brenneman Primary Bulkhead construction meets or exceeds
all design specifications and conforms to all design assumptions as
reported above. In addition, the commitment to place limestone at
the water side of the bulkhead has been completed with the
placement of 5000 lbs of crushed limestone against the water side
of the bulkhead and the air side which could become a water side
because of the secondary bulkhead .
The approximate center of the design water-side of the bulkhead is
at coordinates 17, 375. 50 N, 19, 622. 00 E at an elevation of
12, 148 . 02 feet. These coordinates are based on a coordinate system
with USLM Moultrie being at coordinates 11, 964. 00 N, 20, 000. 00 E at
an elevation of 12, 728 . 73 feet.
2,z 99 t{
Larry Roger Perino, P.E .
Colorado Registration #24138
cc : Patricia Nelson - CDH
