In furtherance of this effort, I enclose a <br /> Memorandum outlining a basis which should alleviate concern about <br /> lack of funds for rehabilitation and maintenance of roads, trails <br /> and other public use facilities . <br /> The plan contemplates an allocation of part of the <br /> unexpended balances in the Reclamation Fund in two categories : <br /> Fund A would be an amount of money calculated to remove <br /> the lamphouse, power lines to the lamphouse, and reclaim the road <br /> from the Preparation Plant area to the lamphouse, and from the <br /> lamphouse to the No. 1 - 2 Mine location. This Fund would be <br /> under the control of the Forest Service and the DMG and would be <br /> expended at their direction in the event Fund B is insufficient <br /> to maintain these roads, trails, and facilities according to <br />
