Box 500
Carbondale, Co 81623
Phone (970)963-2591 Fax (970)963-9616
TGlT.PPAX
February 3, 1997
To: Albert M. King
Fax No. 916-534-6013
From; Louis M. LaGiglia
Bert, I received the copy of your Fax to Steve Renner and want to
make a few comments.
In regard to how much work you have left, I would think that you
probably have a minimum of one months work remaining if you
bring in a crew of 4-6 men and the proper equipment . But whether
the remaining clean-up takes three days or three months it still
has to be done.
In regard to removal of the telephone poles and ling you were
only asked to delay removing the poles and lines that provided
power to the Lamphouse pending decisions on post-reclamation use
of the Lamphouse . You were further instructed not to remove poles
and lines servicing the Willison/Thompson tract of land and not
to remove the mainline poles and lines coming up the mountain
into the Preparation Plant area . You were never told not to
remove the others poles and lines throughout the mine site nor
were you ever relieved of your obligation to remove them.
In another matter, we talked last week about resolving the issue
of look of the fork lift rental that was charged to operations
during the past season. I thought you were going to get back to
me the same day.
Very truly yours,
Louis M. LaGiglia
Trustee
CC: Robert Delaney Fax No. 970-945-2303
Mike Ebert Fax No. 415-467-2639
Steve Renner Fax No. 970-241-1516
