REVEGETATION SUCCESS STANDARD
MINE BENCHES/DOWNSLOPES
Mine Benches and Roads (19A)
Physical testing has been completed (9/82) on the proposed
topsoil source (beaver ponds near #3 mine) and a complete report
including quantity and quality will be presented before July 1,
1983 . The mine benches and associated light use and access roads
will utilize the revegetation success standard established by the
baseline data collection results obtained from adjoining areas.
A map will be developed by July 1, 1983 designating which
part of each mine bench, and or road, corresponds with which type
of reference (adjoining) area.
Mine Bench Downslopes (19B)
Vegetation analysis, as outlined in the attached Scope of
Work (page 12.1) will be started in 1983 to develop a revegetation
success standard for the mine bench downslopes. A plan will be
submitted within two years of permit issuance for revegetation of
the downslopes based upon the success standard developed by the
analysis.
(Stipulation 19)
12 (Vol. .6, Sec. III-H)
