You indicated to Mr. Austin that you were forwarding additional concerns to <br /> our office, and that these additional concerns could impact and should be considered in our <br /> response to your initial complaint. I wish to thank you in advance for the consideration you <br /> expressed to Mr. Austin which will assist us in preparing a complete and timely response to your <br /> concerns. <br /> In accordance with the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act, your statement has been <br /> transmitted to the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, Division of Minerals and Geology <br /> (DMG). The Office of Surface Mining (OSM) received DMG's response to your initial concerns <br /> on March 30, 1998, and has forwarded the response to our Regional Solicitor's Office for a legal <br /> review. Upon legal review and final examination of DMG's response to both your initial and <br /> subsequent concerns, you will be promptly informed of the results. <br /> If a Federal inspection is necessary, you will be notified as far in advance as practicable and will <br /> be given the opportunity to accompany the Federal inspector on the inspection.
