n9-14-07; 12,01PM; ; 970 241 151E # ji 2
Acacia provide us with a brief letter that states the land and structures owned by Acacia
at the former Coal Basin Mine are now being used and managed by Acacia in accordance
with the current and anticipated land uses for the property. Please also indicate Acacia's
agreement that it is now appropriate to terminate the Division's regulatory authority
which currently exists for this former mining property now owned by Acacia.
The actual termination of jurisdiction process will involve public notice and an inspection
of the area specific to the work conducted by the Division. We will coordinate all such
efforts with Acacia.
Please contact rare directly if you have questions or comments regarding either the
termination of our regulatory obligations at the private property in Coal Basin, or about
the reclamation work we have preformed at this property in the past.
We look forward to your assistance in terminating our involvement with the private
property at the former Coal Basin Mine. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely
Steve Renner
Project Manager!Geologist
Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining And Safety
101 South and Street
Room 301
Grand Junction Colorado 81501
970-241-0336
CC: David Berry
Cheryl Linden
Loretta Pineda
