Portion of `„_ Oceration to Which this Notice Applies
Road C
1 . Numerous erosional rills have developed in a minor slide zone between
approximately Sta. 76+00 and Sta. 71 +00.
2. Significant rill erosion has developed on a long, steep slope below the
road between Culvert G-4 at Sta. 62-20 and an un-numbered culvert at
Sta. 55+00. The barren slope is mantled by debris from road construction
and maintenance .
3. Significant rill erosion has developed on long, steep fill slopes between
Sta. 34+00 and 10+00.
4. The following road fill sections have been insufficiently stabilized by
vegetation:
a. Sta. 150+00 to 137+00
b. Sta. 134+00 to 118+00
C . Sta. 40+00 to 36+20
Road DA
S. The road fill along the lower 100 foot segment of the road has poor
vegetation cover and should be reseeded.
Road 0
6. Road fills on upper section of road between the mine bench and Sta.
100+00 are devoid of vegetation and heavily rilled.
7. Cut slopes in colluvium between 66+00 and 70+00 are not revegetated but
would appear to be amenable to seeding.
8 . The road fill between the Arctic Circle and the end of Road 0 drains
directly into the South Fork of Dutch Creek, with very little vegetative
buffer between the road and the stream.
-1 -
