This should allow the Division time to respond to the <br /> concerns identified in your October 20, 1992 letter. <br /> The Mined Land Reclamation Board will be signing an Order during the October 1992 Board Meeting <br /> formally revoking Mid-Continent's permit. This Order will require Mid-Continent to perform reclamation as <br /> outlined in their approved plan, and to maintain the site under all other applicable requirements of their <br /> permit and regulations for coal mining. I have attached a copy of the Order for your files. <br /> Given the revocation, the fact that Mid-Continent is in bankruptcy, and the renewed interest by the Forest <br /> Service concerning reclamation of the roads, the reclamation plan is likely to be modified. If this occurs, <br /> the approval of PR-03 will probably become a moot point at best. If the plan is modified, the public <br /> including the Crystal Valley Environmental Protection Association, will be noticed, and all of your <br /> concerns, not just those associated with PR-03, could be considered. <br /> We recommend that you consider what additional concerns you may wish to bring to our attention that <br /> are separate from PR-03, and once any plans for changing the current plan are submitted, we will contact <br /> you and attempt to combine them with our reviews.
