BANTA, Director December 1 , 1987 Mr. Chuck Grand Pre Division of Wildlife Department of Natural Resources 6060 Broadway Denver, Colorado 80216 Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on December 01 , 1987, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-81-017, by Mid-Continent Resources Inc, Box 158, Carbondale, CO 81623, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. The applicant proposes to continue conducting underground coal mining operations in Sections 31 and 32, T9S, R89W; Sections 4-11 , 14-21 , 28-30, TIOS, R89W; Section 36, T9S, R90W; Sections 1 -2, 11 -14, 23-25, T10S, R90W; all in the 6th P.M. in Pitkin and Gunnison Counties, Colorado. The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of 0000. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Pitkin County Courthouse, 506 E Main, Aspen, CO. Written comments, objections or requests for an informal conference on the application may be submitted to, and additional information obtained from, the Mined Land Reclamation Division, Room 423, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567.
