's valid, existing <br /> coal mining and reclamation permit. The Coal Basin Mines are located in <br /> Sections 31 and 32, T9S, R89W; Sections 4-11 , 14-21 , 28-30, T10S, R89W; <br /> Section 36, T9S, R90W; Sections 1 -2, 11 -14, 23-25, T10S, R90W; Section 35, <br /> T7S, R88W; all in the 6th P.M. in Garfield, Pitkin, and Gunnison Counties, <br /> Colorado. <br /> Mid-Continent obtained its original five year permit on May 31 , 1983. The <br /> permit was scheduled to expire on May 31 , 1988 unless an application for <br /> renewal was submitted. Mid-Continent did submit this application, and upon <br /> review the Division is proposing to renew the permit for another five year <br /> term. <br /> The proposed decision will be published as soon as possible in the Glenwood <br /> Post once per week for two consecutive weeks. There is a thirty day comment <br /> period following the first publication.
