ems■
— in-L-c-3nounwnsoi,
Samples were placed in clean paper bags and labeled. All samples were sent to
Accu-Labs Research, Inc. , 'Wheat Ridge, Colorado for analysis. Analytical
methods are shown in Table 30.
RESULTS
Vegetation sampling data were compiled from original field sheets and tabulated
by computer. Tables 19 through 23 show the tabulated data and data summaries
for each vegetation type in the gas well road inventory area. Tables 31
through 33 show the results of the soils inventory for the gas well road
corridor.
Precipitation during the 1984 growing season was much higher than average,
according to data from near Redstone, Colorado provided by Mid-Continent. For
the months of May through August, precipitation was 70 percent higher in 1984
than the average of the previous6 years. Measurements of vegetation cover and
production made during years of higher than average precipitation would be
expected to reflect better than average growing conditions.
