Box 1030 <br />N Rio Grande Ave. <br />Paonia, CO 81428 <br />FAX 970 -527 -4151 <br />2820 <br />June 13, 2012 <br />Dear James, <br />The Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forest (GMUG) has completed its <br />review of Mountain Coal Company's TR -129, proposing minor changes in the location of <br />methane drainage wells and associated road access in the E4 panel of the E -Seam Methane <br />Drainage Wells Project on National Forest Lands. <br />Our review has found that this proposal is subject to the March 2008 Record of Decision (ROD) <br />for the E -seam Methane Drainage Wells Project. Its proposed measures to protect federal <br />resources and the post mining land use are consistent with the design features identified in the <br />ROD.
