Northwest Aggregates Inc. <br />"WAND Pit" <br />Exhibit "G" <br />1) Operation will pump ground water out of mine areas into sediment pond the <br />Yampa River being final receiving waters. Water in proposed mine will be <br />pumped at an approximate rate of 0.38 MGD per well permit TBD. Product wash <br />waters will be returned to pit for settling. <br />2) A) No tributary water courses, springs, stock water ponds, reservoirs or ditches <br />are present on affected or adjacent lands other than the ditches and stock ponds <br />created during mining operations. There are no wells within 600 feet of proposed <br />mining operations (as per research done when filing for 10 acre well permit). <br />B) No known aquifers in area that will be disturbed. Water encountered in <br />mining is typical ground water from the Yampa River Basin. <br />C) Water from off watering operations or from runoff will be pumped through <br />sediment pond and discharged into Yampa river under discharge permit <br />#COG501524. All runoff water to be directed to pit locations for settling. <br />D) Water for proposed project obtained from Well Permit No. TBD. . Water for <br />reclamation is allowed TBD acre feet/year irrigation and process wash water and <br />dust control. <br />3) Water will be discharged at a flow rate of 0.38 MGD for mining seasons (approx.) <br />8 months per year. Mining operation will require approx. 1 acre feet per year for <br />dust suppression and 1 acre feet per year for irrigation water for reclamation. <br />4) Source of water will be typical ground water from the Yampa River Basin under <br />well permit no. TBD. <br />
