Two <br /> points found nearby were assumed to be MC-8 and MC-9 . When <br /> the data were reduced, MC-9 matched its previous location, <br /> but the other point gave the coordinates and elevation shown <br /> in Tables 1 and 4 . Apparently this was a station installed <br /> during the original program but not referred to since <br /> surveying began, and the true MC-8 was either overlooked or <br /> has been covered, removed or destroyed. <br />
