Lynn Kirk <br /> 03/18/99 11:29 AM <br /> To: BIDS Purchasing Agents <br /> cc: <br /> Subject: Final Outcome of Prior Problem with Burst Communications Who Wanted Our Agency to Sign Their Terms <br /> and Conditions <br /> Just for everyone's information. <br /> Original Problem Reported on 2-2-99 via BIDS Network: <br /> Jack Loyd, sales rep. for Burst Communications (registered BIDS vendor FEIN#84-1174420), said he <br /> couldn't accept a purchase order from our agency until we signed their company's terms and conditions. <br /> Our agency is cutting the purchase order noting that we will not sign their company's terms and <br /> conditions, and giving them 72 hours to confirm acceptance of the purchase order. <br /> Final Outcome: <br /> While the company did not call us and confirm acceptance of the order,they did automatically fill the order <br /> within 5 working days and did not further request that we sign any vendor terms and conditions. <br />
