2957 Highway 133 <br /> Carbondale, Colorado,81623 <br /> The mixtures must be formulated and delivered in accordance with the following <br /> specifications: <br /> Mine Site Seed Mixture: Please provide the mix in two(2) acre bags having 25.48 pounds of Pure Live Seed per <br /> bag. The total seed for this order shall be 382.2 pounds PLS packaged in 15 separate bags. See Mixing instructions, <br /> below. <br /> Outslope Seed Mixture: Please provide the mix in two(2) acre bags having 29.2 pounds of Pure Live Seed per bag. <br /> The total seed for this order shall be 146 pounds PLS packaged in 5 separate bags. See Mixing instructions, below. <br /> Diversion Mixture: Please provide the mix in one(1)bag,containing 30 pounds of Pure Live Seed. The total seed for <br /> this order shall be 30 pounds PLS packaged in one bag. <br /> For the Mine Site and Outslope Mixtures,seed shall be thoroughly re-mixed in the specified proportions and <br /> delivered in bags consisting of a two(2)acre batch of seed at the rate specified. The seed denoted by an asterisk(I <br /> on the attached table shall be placed in a separate bag enclosed with each two acre bag <br /> The Diversion Mixture shall be thoroughly pre-mixed in the specified proportions, and delivered in 1 bag consisting of <br /> 30 pounds pure live seed. <br /> All seed shall conform to the current rules and regulations of the State of Colorado and the U.S. Department of <br /> Agriculture. Unless exception is granted by the PROJECT MANAGER,seed shall be thoroughly pre-mixed(except for <br /> legumes)in the required proportions and delivered to the designated location in bags clearly tagged showing the name <br /> and address of the supplier,the net weight of each species of seed in the mix,the percent of weed seed content, and <br /> the guaranteed percentage of purity and germination for each species.A signed statement shall be furnished certifying <br /> that the seed provided is from a lot that has been tested by a recognized laboratory for seed testing within nine months <br /> prior to the date of delivery to the job site. <br /> Each container shall be dearly tagged with the name and address of the supplier, the seed mix title;pounds PLS of <br /> each species;the net weight of each species of the seed mix;the percent of weed seed content;and the guaranteed <br /> percentage of germination of the seed lot. <br /> 2 <br />
