May 30, 2012 C- 1991- 078/1-lamilton Mine <br />JLE <br />Pond B is a permanent feature that has been approved to be left in place. Tamarisk ( Tamariix sp.) has been treated <br />inside the pond but has begun to sprout again throughout the pond. White Top (Cardaria draba) was observed on <br />the pond embankment. Both of these species are noxious weeds and will need to be treated prior to approval for <br />the site release. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The perimeter fences surrounding the revegetation areas are still in place and will need to be removed prior to the <br />Division's approval of the site release. Mr. Rich indicated the landowner of the mine area may desire to retain a <br />portion of the fence for his personal use on the property. If so, the Operator will need to submit a minor revision <br />to the permit to include a provision to leave all or a portion of the fence in place.
