Invitation for Bids <br /> Coal Basin/Mine 4 Project <br /> The State of Colorado, Division of Minerals and Geology is seeking bids for a <br /> project to reclaim a previously-permitted underground coal mine located in <br /> Pitkin County four miles west of Redstone. The work shall consist of <br /> demolition and disposal of concrete and cinder block foundations and earthwork <br /> to excavate material from mine bench outslopes and place it against highwalls , <br /> construction ditches and revegetating of disturbed areas .
