The State of Colorado, Division of Minerals and Geology, is seeking bids for a project to reclaim
a previously-permitted coal mine located four miles west of Redstone, in Pitkin County, Colorado.
Work will include demolition and disposal of a concrete and cinder block building, earthwork to
excavate material from mine bench outlsopes and replace it against highwalls,furrow construction
and revegetation.
Interested Contractors should promptly return this memo to Yvonne Brannon, Colorado Division
of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, #215, Denver, Colorado 80203, for a set of Bid
Number PKA-5-359 (COAL BASIN/MINE 3 PROJECT) bidding documents. There is no charge
for bid documents.
An on-site pre-bid meeting will be held on June 8, 1995. All interested bidders must attend.
Bidding documents must be obtained prior to the pre-bid meeting.
Your request must be received by June 2, 1995 so bidding documents can reach you before the
pre-bid meeting.
