Hord Tipton <br />We are requesting that the OSM determine whether $20,000 is available from any <br />source, so that site maintenance can be continued following the anticipated <br />revocation and forfeiture. Our concern is that environmental degradation <br />during pre - reclamation be minimized. Perhaps the necessary funds could be <br />advanced to the State for short -term stabilization and repaid later from the <br />proceeds of the property liquidation. I would like to discuss this with you <br />by phone in the near future, after you have had opportunity to review any <br />potential alternatives which may be available. I will contact you during the <br />week of January 6, 1992 to discuss this further. <br />Meanwhile, please contact me or David Bucknam if you have questions or <br />comments. <br />Steven G.
