February 5, 1981 Mid Continent Resources, Inc. submits
permit application and mining and
reclamation plan (MRP), under the approved
Colorado program, to the Colorado Mined
Land Reclamation Division and OSM.
February 5, 1981 Company files application in County
Courthouse.
February 11, 1981 Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division
announces that Mid Continent Resources,
Inc. 's permit application and MRP is
complete and commences its technical
analysis.
February 26, March 5, 12 Mid Continent Resources, Inc. publishes
and 19, 1981 four consecutive weekly notices in the
Roaring Fork Valley Journal and Gunnison
County Times that its permit application
and MRP has been filed.
April 13, 1981 Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division
notifies Mid Continent Resources, Inc. of
deficiencies discovered in the Coal Basin
Mine State permit application and MRP in
course of preparation of the TA, including
concerns identified by OSM.
August 28, 1981 Mid Continent Resources, Inc. responds to
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division
and OSM concerning those deficiencies.
January 8, 1983 Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division
submits the draft TA for the Coal Basin
Mine mine to OSM for its review and comment.
April 5, 1983 OSM submits its comments regarding the
draft TA for the Coal Basin Mine to
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division.
