HYDROGEOLOGIST'S TOXIC AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE
LETTER OF OPINION
The undersigned has provided to and for the benefit of the State of
Colorado an investigation for the existence of toxic and hazardous
substances, as outlined in the attached report dated 13 June 1993 .
It is the opinion of the undersigned that the investigation is a
reasonable inquiry based on the standards of professionals engaged
in similar investigations and the locality of the project. Based
upon this investigation and the resulting environmental site
assessment report which is attached and incorporated herein, the
undersigned believes that, as a result of past property use, there
is a high probability that compressor blowdown oil has contaminated
surface and subsurface soil at concentrations requiring
remediation. There is a low probability that the oil has
contaminated the underlying alluvial aquifer and caused
deterioration of the drinking water source. The oil contamination
in the soil would lead a prudent potential purchaser to carry out
a more detailed investigation prior to acquiring the property.
The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that the State of Colorado
is relying on the contents of this report in deciding financial
matters concerning the subject property.
By:
Name: David R.
