State and Federal effluent <br /> limitations do apply. <br /> DESIGN FLOW: Sedimentation pond volume .2 acre-feet. <br /> FACILITY DESCRIPTION: This facility is a railroad loadout operation associated <br /> with the Coal Basin Mines (permit number CO-0000396) • <br /> Discharge point 001 is the outfall of the sedimentation <br /> pond that controls surface runoff from around the loadout <br /> facility. This discharge point was previously designated <br /> as 019 under permit number CO-0000396. However, because <br /> the loadout and mine sites are not continguous, seperate <br /> permits are required. The coal basin mines produce <br /> approximately 1 .2 million tons of coal per year which <br /> pass through the loadout. This amount is expected to <br /> increase to 3. 1 million tons per year by 1987. A site <br /> plan of the loadout facility is shown in figure 2 page 16 <br /> of the permit. <br />
