limitations do apply.
DESIGN FLOW: Sedimentation pond volume .2 acre-feet.
FACILITY DESCRIPTION: This facility is a railroad loadout operation associated
with the Coal Basin Mines (permit number CO-0000396) •
Discharge point 001 is the outfall of the sedimentation
pond that controls surface runoff from around the loadout
facility. This discharge point was previously designated
as 019 under permit number CO-0000396. However, because
the loadout and mine sites are not continguous, seperate
permits are required. The coal basin mines produce
approximately 1 .2 million tons of coal per year which
pass through the loadout. This amount is expected to
increase to 3. 1 million tons per year by 1987. A site
plan of the loadout facility is shown in figure 2 page 16
of the permit.
