products , water yield and wildlife values ,
increasing emphasis on controlling vehicular
access .
5) Maximum development of livestock forage .
Increased emphasis toward non-development
with fewer commodity outputs .
6) Maximum development of livestock forage .
Emphasis directed toward non-development .
The alternative selected (maximum development
of livestock forage , wood products , water yield and
dispersed recreation, with increasing emphasis on
controlling vehicular access) was chosen because:
"It provides for a balance between commodity
outputs , environmental conditions and social values .
It best meets the goals and broad objectives as jointly
derived among local citizens , county government , and
the Forest Service. "
