Box 1298 <br />Glenwood Springs, CO 81602 <br />RE: Small Area Exemption Demonstrations - Coal Basin Mine - C 81 - 017. <br />Dear Mr. Waldron: <br />Enclosed please find Small Area Exemption (SAE) Demonstrations for three areas at <br />the Coal Basin Mine site. These include: <br />1. Middle Bin Pad - #3 Mine; <br />2. Bin Pad - #4 Mine; <br />3. Topsoil Pile near Disney Creek. <br />Also included, for your reference, are previously approved SAES, contained in the <br />permit, for (1) Middle Bin Pad - #3 Mine; (2) Bin Pad - #4 Mine. <br />It should be noted that the topsoil pile is very well vegetated. <br />Demonstrations have been prepared by John Reeves, Jr., P.E. <br />These should be placed in Vol. 10, Chapter 2S, Appendix B (2S -B). <br />Yours truly, <br />Diane Delaney <br />Mid- Continent Resources <br />
