It appeared that the northern portion of the regraded area had not
been graded to drain to the Rail Loop 42 pond, as shown on approved Exhibit 12 -2. The eastern section of the
regraded area flows to Ditch 3, but the grade of Ditch 3 appeared to break and direct some of the flow to the
culvert passing under the Tie Across Haul Road (TAHC -1). Straw wattles had been placed on the regraded
outslope, and it did not appear that any sediment had left the site. Nonetheless, ditches 3, 7, and 8 need to be
redefined to ensure that the configuration is as approved in Exhibit 12 -2, and that all disturbed area drainage
passes through a sedimentation pond or approved small area exemption.
The Loadout Truck Loop 41 pond held water but was not discharging.
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS /COMPLIANCE
No enforcement activities were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any actions pending.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 5
Page 2 of 4
