Following is a <br /> summary of the work completed for this project. <br /> SGC had identified three drainage paths with significant surface/subsurface flows <br /> upgradient from Tailings Pond No. 1 (TP1) and the Mayflower Mill. Starting from the <br /> west end of TP1, they are called Drainage A, Drainage B, and Drainage C. <br /> Drainage A <br /> The natural drainage was followed upgradient until the flow could be isolated on a rock <br /> outcrop. An excavation was made in the drainage and a 4-foot diameter manhole <br /> installed. Approximately 20 feet downgradient another 4 foot diameter manhole was <br /> installed as a secondary catchment. The manholes were connected with 24" ADS pipe <br /> and the outlet from the lower manhole was extended to the lined diversion ditch installed <br /> on TP1 with 24" ADS pipe (approximately 660 feet). Bowls were formed around the <br /> manholes with the manholes being drains for these bowls. The bowls were then shotcrete <br /> lined. The upgradient bowl was covered with a rock cover to restore the drainage <br />
