Seep Inventory and Monitoring Program <br />Page 3 <br />The general guidelines are: <br />- all adit flows should be sampled <br />- emergent groundwater flows should not be sampled when <br />upgradient snow conditions exist that could be the cause <br />of or influence the flows <br />- samples should be taken of emergent groundwater flows <br />with temperature above ambient, pH significantly below or <br />above ambient or with significant conductivity readings <br />unless upgradient conditions reflect probable influence <br />by snow conditions. Then the site should be revisited <br />for sampling when upgradient conditions improve. <br />3.
