4th Quarter 1999 Report (October—December) <br /> Page 2 <br /> American Tunnel Bulkhead <br /> The American Tunnel bulkhead was inspected, gage pressure readings taken, and fluid <br /> samples analyzed for pH, conductivity, and temperature more frequently than the <br /> requirements of Items 3. This information is attached. <br /> Site inspections have not revealed any indication that the bulkhead is performing other <br /> than as designed. <br /> Infection Quantities <br /> In order to maintain a no discharge status from the Terry Tunnel settling ponds, water <br /> was pumped from the ponds through the Terry Tunnel bulkhead pipe into the mine pool. <br /> Alkaline material was not added.
