Gillis :
As we discussed by telephone on September 18 , 1995, Sunnyside Gold
Corporation (SGC) will obtain riprap material from the BLM for
reclamation use on SGC permitted property. This material will be
obtained through a non-mineral contract sale to SGC by the BLM from
a common use site in San Juan County. It is SGC' s understanding
that there are no requirements for SGC to obtain MLR permits or DMG
approval to purchase and remove this material for their reclamation
projects. Therefore, SGC will proceed to work out the contract
arrangements with the BLM and implement the reclamation projects
for which it is intended .
Thank you for your help in expediting this matter .
Sincerely,
Larry Perino
Superintendent-Technical Services
cc: Bob Kershaw, BLM
