**During the 1988 survey station MC-8 could not be found in
the vicinity of its supposed location on previous maps . Two
points found nearby were assumed to be MC-8 and MC-9 . When
the data were reduced, MC-9 matched its previous location,
but the other point gave the coordinates and elevation shown
in Tables 1 and 4 . Apparently this was a station installed
during the original program but not referred to since
surveying began, and the true MC-8 was either overlooked or
has been covered, removed or destroyed .
