4 . There are no apparent new accumulations of <br /> talus at the base of cliffs or very steep <br /> slopes. <br /> 5. Powerline poles installed between the two coal <br /> seams have not shifted from line or plumb. <br /> In addition, it may be noted that the inspected area is <br /> not used for grazing by domestic stock, that there is no <br /> marketable timber present, that no big game or their recent <br /> spoor were sighted, and that there are no man-made struc- <br /> tures other than mine buildings upon the premises. <br /> It appears that subsidence of the surface is not affecting <br /> use or value. In view of the stability exhibited above <br /> the oldest and shallowest mining, it seems unlikely that <br /> subsidence could cause diminution of any surface uses as <br /> mining progresses in the future under deeper cover. <br /> -6- <br />
