<br /> Ceccorpncicgy: This unit is on gently s',�oing -:untain sideslopes. Some areas Tay be depositional
<br /> in nature. Erosion hazard and mass move .nt potential are low. The rock outcrop is the primary
<br /> physical constraint to management. Sor_ _erer^-al seams occur in this unit.
<br /> Wildlife: Species using this oroadly defined ELU are varied and numerous. The most obvious
<br /> species are elk, :rule deer, raven, red-tailed hawk and golden eagle. Less obvious species include
<br /> black bear, coyote, bobcat, yellow-bellied Tarrot, :-'pmunk and a variety of small birds such as
<br /> black-oilied magpies, kestrel , rock wren, ncrned lark and mountain bluebird.

<br /> hazard and mass movement potential are variable but predominately high. There are several peren-
<br /> nial streams ,n this unit and these could be damaged by ;can's activities. The geology of the
<br /> units is l3r,ed but the dominant rock types are sandstone, siltstone, shale and basalt.
<br /> Wlilal-ife: Species using the broadly-defined ELU are varied and numerous. The most obvious
