April 2012 <br />5.3 Waste Disposal <br />Page 5 -3 <br />Any materials used during cleanup operations will be disposed of properly in a manner that is in <br />compliance with applicable EPA regulations. <br />5.4 Notification [112.4 and I I2.7(a)(4)] <br />After making the appropriate phone calls and the spill is contained, a "Spill Notification Form," <br />included in Appendix H, shall be completed and submitted to the Environmental Compliance <br />Officer. The "Spill Notification Form" includes a checklist to document the proper notification <br />of state and federal agencies. The form shall be filed by facility name and maintained as long as <br />NECC owns and/or operates this facility. <br />If a single spill greater than 1,000 gallons occurs, or two spills greater than 42 gallons each occur <br />within any 12 -month period at this NECC facility, the Environmental Compliance Officer shall, <br />follow the notification procedures below and provide written information to the EPA Regional <br />Administrator as required by the federal SPCC rules.
