Abstract
A cultural resources inventory of five proposed drill hole locations
and related access roads occurring on National Forest land was conducted
for Mid-Continent Resources , Inc. The proposed drill holes and access
roads are located in T. 10S. , R.89W. , Sections 7, 18, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29,
and 30, 6th P.M. , and T. 10S. , R.90W. , Sections 1 (interpolated) , 12 (in-
terpolated) , and 13, 6th P.M. , Gunnison National Forest. A search of
the Colorado Archaeological Site Inventory, the Colorado Inventory of
Historic Sites, and nominations pending or on the National Register pro-
duced no known archaeological and/or historical/architectural resources
in the impact area of the or000sed construction/road building. A 100%
pedestrian survey of the drill hole locations and their related access
roads was performed with negative results. Archaeological clearance is
recommended.
