coyote, bobcat , pine marten, yellow bellied marmot , chip- <br /> munk, pine squirrel and snowshoe hare. <br /> Rantors and birds include eagle (hunting <br /> only) , goshawk, redtailed hawk, gray jay , white crowned <br /> sparrows , blackcapped chickadees , pine grosbeaks , tree <br /> swallows , Williamson' s sapsuckers , robins , bluegrouse , gray <br /> headed juncos , mountain blue bird , kestrel , black billed <br /> magpie, rock wren, horned lark, white crowned sparrow and <br /> rosy finch. <br /> No threatened or endangered species inhabit <br /> Coal Basin, although wild turkey and mountain goat have been <br /> sighted during the time of the present mining operation. <br /> The U . S . Forest Service estimates that , for <br /> the west and south slopes of Huntsman Ridge : <br /> "Those areas described are fairly high in elevation and <br /> would not contain any winter range habitat for big game <br /> animals . Those areas most probably supply summer range <br /> habitat for deer , elk, and small game species .
