Groundwater samples were collected from the following sites: Old Refuse Pile, Station #P-1 Old Refuse Pile, Station #P-2 Old Refuse Pile , Station #P-3 Old Refuse Pile, Station #P-7 Old Refuse Pile, Station #P-8 Sutey Refuse Pile, Station #GS-1 Sutey Refuse Pile, Station #GW-1 Warehouse, Station #6 Tunnel Refuse Pile, Station #11 Washplant, Station #9 Sutey Underdrain * Stations #P-4 , #P-6 , #AT-2A & #AT-2B have been dry, with no data collected, for a number of years. Attached are Summaries of Surface Data, including Flow, TSS, TDS and Iron, and of Groundwater Data, including Depth, Iron, Sulfate and TDS. The Mean of the Summary is derived from all the years in which samples have been collected for each sampling point (rather than the Mean for the year 1990) . Included are charts which indicate surface water trends for certain parameters, including flow, TSS, TDS and Iron during spring/summer and fall from 1986- 1990 ; and charts which indicate groundwater trends for certain parameters, including depth, TDS, iron and sulfate levels during spring/summer and fall from 1986-1990 . The data collected for each successive year of sampling are attached for each surface and groundwater monitoring site, along with Maximum, Mean and Minimum levels recorded. SURFACE WATER Coal Creek, Station #20 : Coal Creek is the primary drainage for Coal Basin, and all other streams sampled are tributaries. Water samples have been collected from Coal Creek since 1978. As indicated by the accompanying charts , 1990 spring flows were highest in the five year period, as were TSS and Iron levels. None of the parameters tested reached maximum levels. Dutch Creek, Station #5 Water samples have been collected from Dutch Creek since 1976 . During 1990 , no maximum or minimum levels were reached in either 2
