This will be the first of a series of regular meetings to review, discuss, and ultimately consolidate and rewrite the above referenced reclamation plan. I would prefer to keep these meetings informal with a flexible agenda. Length probably should be dictated by the discussions ongoing at the time , but an hour, more or less , should be anticipated for scheduling purposes . I would suggest that this first meeting, as an introduction, be devoted to an overview of the goals and objectives , an overview of the Climax Mine situation, discussions of the concerns and constraints of both the MLRD and Climax, and if time allows , some general discussion of specifics . This approach should set the ground work for subsequent sessions . Due to the complexity of the issues , I believe that, at minimum, monthly meetings will be necessary at least until the onset of the heavy field season. Again, AMAX remains flexible on these matters. Attached is a copy of a comprehensive computer worksheet which summarizes the critical elements of the Climax Plan. Although I have found it helpful , this worksheet may or may not be worthwhile in consolidating an extensive plan into something workable on the desktop. In the interim if you have any questions, please give me a call. We look forward to meeting with you this month.
