On the afternoon of April 30th, the <br />inspection began with a records check, followed by a visit to the upper workings of the CCC <br />Ditch. The mine site was inspected on the morning of May 1 st. <br />PERMITTING UPDATE: <br />TR -62 - Field Changes to Soil Sampling Plan - The Division issued a proposed decision to <br />approve TR -62 on April 4th. Public notice of that decision appeared in the San Miguel Basin <br />Forum on April 12th. No objections were received, and the revision became final on April 23, <br />2012. <br />MR -83 - Update to Section 2.03.4 - Identification of Interests — Approved on May 2, 2012. <br />MR - ?? - The Division anticipates the submittal of a revision application that will incorporate the <br />laboratory results from the 2011 Soil Sampling and Analysis Plan into the permit. <br />SL -12 - The Division understands that WFC intends to withdraw this application. <br />SL -13 - The Division understands that WFC intends to submit a new bond release application for <br />reconstructed segments of BB Road and 2700 Road and for backfilling and grading on the <br />Benson -West and former Lloyd properties. <br />CCC DITCH: <br />I was informed by Mr. Gubka that the CCC Ditch had been turned on the week prior to my <br />inspection. On the evening of April 30, 2012, I drove to the upper reaches of the CCC Ditch to <br />observe the workings. <br />The ditch, which provides irrigation for the area surrounding the town of Nucla, diverts water <br />from the San Miguel River at a point approximately 17 miles upstream of the town of Naturita. <br />Travel to the site is accomplished by taking 90 Road northeast from the Tri -State Generating <br />Station to the junction with 13133 Road, turning right (southeast) onto 13133 Road, and <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 Page 2 of 11 <br />
